![]() ![]() People think that heals help somehow but in reality unless you have talents to reduce interruptions and lesser casting time, it is always better to just spend this mana on shocks to kill your target faster. Shaman in HC PVE is basically a warrior with better interrupts and ability to burst with magic. ![]() You’ll never have to worry about money for skills and whenever you get to your mount you’ll be fine.Īt level 10 you’ll want to fly to crossroads and do the Fungal Spore quest that the undead NPC behind the fight master gives you.ĭo this quest by going to the North pond and just avoid any centaurs on your way, you’ll be safest at this location.Īfter you finish this quest you’ll be sent to ThunderBluff and you’ll get a weapon with like 10 dps and makes you start to 3 hit mobs.Īlthough you’re doing a lot of damage you DO NOT want to miss out on your searing totem quest at level 10, you’ll be able to flame shock and pop searing totem every mob you pull and continuously grind mobsĪt level 14 you can pick up the RFC quests and make sure you do thralls quest so you get an even better staff after you finish RFCįrom there on your just waiting till 18-20 to run Wailing caverns and get your crescent staff for your last early game Big upgradeįrom then on it’s up to you man, you can gear up and level wherever is most fun for you :) I hope some of my tips are able to help you though Mulgore is also the best spot for shaman leveling because of Skinning and Leatherworking which is what you’ll most likely want to get / you will obtain relatively amazing gear for the level your at from 10-20 and if you don’t feel like keeping leatherworking you can still keep skinning for the immense amount of gold you’ll make. By the time you leave Mulgore you’ll have 5 flight paths including Thunderbluff which is great for when getting quests for dungeons So even if I’m an orc or troll I will level to 6, jump off the cliff racing ratchet and run towards Ratchet, Xroads, Camp T, then Bloodhoof village to start questing. Second depending on the race you’ve chosen you have a few choices on leveling zones, I personally love the Mulgore area and just the vibe it has. It's useful to buy you seconds to get away though, place it, run, then place earth grab totem when stoneclaw dies and just keep running.īiggest tips for Shamans in the early game nobody talks about!!įirst you’re going to want to pick a race you LIKE to play as / all races for shaman is good (troll for health regen and the attack speed and cast speed cooldown) (orc is great for enchance and axes) (Tauren you get a free stun which can be life or death when trying to cast ghost wolf and running away) Stoneclaw totem will die very quickly, don't rely on it to handle over pulls. Also, searing totem will automatically attack any nearby enemy, make sure you're aware of enemies near it. Mob spawns and pats will aggro onto them which is obviously dangerous. Getting a high attack speed 1h + shield gives similar damage to 2h with the added damage mitigation of the shield.īe extra mindful of totem placement. Most guides tell you to go 2h with rockbiter, this is great but don't sleep on 1h + shield with flame tongue/windfury. You also have totem management to care for which becomes super important in HC. You have heals that make leveling easier than it would be for a warrior but you don't have the bubbles, LoH and stun of the paladin, so you're just kinda raw dogging it comparatively. ![]() Shaman is great fun in HC as it's arguably the second hardest class for it.
